[Member Highlight]: IMAN Research

IMAN Research is an organisation from Malaysia, peopled by young researchers who are passionate about the world they live in, and the subjects they work on. When it comes to research, the use mixed-method approach – qualitative and quantitative: on-ground focus group discussions, supported by fieldwork combined with measurable data. IMAN Research works together with communities, who lead and educate them on on-the-ground realities that may not be apparent to the world at large. Their work is based on communities and supports their resilience as they navigate through their daily lives. They have been working on issues on violent extremism, youth, politics, civil society and marginalised communities since 2015. All of their work is based on research and supervised rigorously by an ethics committee.
