In collaboration with SEAN-CSO, the Patani Network in Thailand are producing a series of videos on various issues and topics to raise awareness about the need to take up various public health measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the context of the local conflict in Thailand’s southernmost provinces. These videos aim to challenge misinformation, conspiracy theories, and dangerous messaging that can be promulgated by extremist voices and that threaten the social fabric of Patani Malay communities in Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
The second video, tells the cover story of The Patani Humanitarian Emergency Fund which distributed survival bags for impoverished families in Tung Ya Daeng and Ma Yor districts. For more details, please check out the video below:
