This handbook aims to bridge the gap between two such stakeholders, frontline practitioners and youth, in order to facilitate better coordination toward P/CVE goals. Given the historical lack of emphasis on youth engagement in P/CVE work, it considers that youth may not be directly engaged in this area right now, but could be empowered to do so, and thus include tips for doing so safely and effectively.
The NMBL Youth-Focused Approach P/CVE is more than just a catchy acronym; it is a philosophy that guides effective youth engagement planning and project design. Being “nimble” entails not only adapting to external challenges, but also being reflexive enough to identify and address internal ones. Being NMBL is a sure way to get there.
