32 women from various religions (Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism) took part in the workshop. Numerous Indonesian religious organizations and universities were represented.
At the end of the workshop, SRILI was declared an official community of interfaith women committed to the revitalization of diversity management and promotion of women as active actors of change.
SRILI’s mission includes the following goals:
- Strengthen the bonds of sisterhood among members of SRILI
- Build and enhance the capacity of members and communities for interfaith dialogue and cooperation

- Respond to social problems, especially issues facing women and children, through alternative activities, critical education, and adult education
