In collaboration with SEAN-CSO, the Patani Network in Thailand are producing a series of videos on various issues and topics to raise awareness about the need to take up various public health measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the context of the local conflict in Thailand’s southernmost provinces. These videos aim to challenge misinformation, conspiracy theories, and dangerous messaging that can be promulgated by extremist voices and that threaten the social fabric of Patani Malay communities in Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
A Thai Buddhist artist who lives in Patani and the artwork inspired by the spread of Covid-19 that knows no gender, religion, ethnicity, richer or poor, all are affected by the pandemic length. Check our their latest video below:
