The Invisible Wall, A SEAN-CSO Documentary on Community-Based Approach in Reintegration and Rehabilitation

The Invisible Wall is a documentary that captures the importance of societal collaboration in breaking down prejudices and stigma.

Both Ms Nurdiana and Ms Purwati, whose husband was also caught, were trapped behind the stigma of extreme violence perpetrators who were considered the same by society.

Both of them have now not only lost their livelihoods but also have to fight against the negative views of society that consider them part of the problem.

However, with the assistance of various parties, including Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the Sukamaju Village Resilience Team, they gradually negotiated with community leaders and village heads. They tried to convince the community that they had changed and wanted to clarify what happened.
