- Dr. Siti Irma Fadhilah Binti Ismail (Clinical Psychologist, Malaysia 🇲🇾)
Clinical Psychologist and Academician with over 20 years of experience. She currently serves as a Lecturer at the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia, where she imparts her behavioural science knowledge to aspiring medical professionals.
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Fadhilah Binti Ismail actively contributes to the well-being of her community. She provides clinical services at a government hospital, guiding and mentoring future generations of psychologists through their clinical training.
Her commitment to improving mental health extends beyond academia. Dr. Fadhilah Binti Ismail is deeply involved in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including victims of torture and those affected by conflict. She utilises her expertise to provide psychological interventions and psychosocial support in these challenging situations.
Dr. Fadhilah Binti Ismail possesses a comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, honed through years of clinical experience. She skillfully diagnoses and evaluates conditions in both adults and children, employing a range of assessment tools, including observation, interviews, and psychometric testing.
Furthermore, Dr. Fadhilah Binti Ismail is a sought-after workshop facilitator, sharing her knowledge and expertise with diverse audiences on topics such as psychopathology, stress management, emotional intelligence, crisis intervention, emotional first aid, and well-being.
- Falisha Aufiya (Project Officer at INITIATE.MY, Malaysia 🇲🇾)
She is a Project Officer at INITIATE.MY with diverse skill set and expertise to her role by blending experience in the tech industry with Digital Penang and preventing violent extremism with INITIATE.MY. She graduated from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) in International Studies in 2020. She wrote a thesis exploring the implications of “Trump’s Afghanistan-Pakistan Strategy on International Security”.
From 2021 to 2023, Falisha’s research at INITIATE.MY has delved into the topics of radicalisation and domestic extremism. She co-authored a policy brief on “How To Tackle On-Campus Radicalisation And Improve Community Resilience” in 2022. Falisha is committed to fostering peace and stability in Malaysia and beyond through high-impact preventive programmes through INITIATE.MY.
- Aziff Azuddin
IMAN’s Research Director. Aziff Azuddin is IMAN’s Research Director and data analyst with over a decade of experience in media, public policy, and urban sociology. He has published both journalistic and research work in various sectors, including urban development, cultural heritage and community, and faith and politics. He is currently pursuing his PhD, studying Muslim identities in urban spaces. Outside academia, Aziff is also involved in research projects that include, but are not limited to, the political economy of religion, youth and nationhood, and urban livability.
